Fuzion3 recently completed a custom home project in sunny Newport Beach, CA, and we’d loved to show it off to you. The home was for a repeat client of ours — someone who’s trusted us with two prior homes and knew that we’d get the job done right this time around too.

Our team loved designing and integrating the technology in this home because it was the perfect project for us to show off our strengths and showcase our best work. We installed a fully integrated Savant smart home, dedicated theater, temperature-controlled wine cellar, outdoor entertainment, downstairs and lighting on this gorgeous property for our client.

Savant Whole-Home Control

We integrated home automation as the brain connecting and controlling everything in the client’s home. We installed twelve wall-mounted iPads around the house for the family to control AV, lighting, shading, security, climate, and more. Additionally, everyone has access to the Savant mobile app for smart home control from anywhere in the world.

We housed all system components in a clean, spacious, and easily accessible walk-in AV closet. Additionally, the closet is equipped with a backup battery to keep the house running if the network goes down.

Dedicated Home Theater

We designed a luxury home theater for our clients to have a dedicated space to watch movies, TV shows, and other entertainment. We installed dimmable lighting, comfortable theater seating, a Sony projector, and speakers from B&O, James Loudspeaker, and Origin Acoustics. The family can easily choose their content, dim the lighting, and adjust the volume using the Savant app.

Temperature-Controlled Wine Cellar

The wine cellar is one of the most unique and valuable aspects of this house. Our team installed a temperature control system that the homeowners can monitor and manage via the Savant mobile app. The family receives instant notifications if the temperature changes or the electricity goes out. Additionally, Fuzion3 provides remote monitoring and management services and 24-hour after-hours services in case of emergency. Our client’s wine collection is incredibly valuable and needs to remain temperature-controlled to preserve the integrity of the wine.

Outdoor Entertainment

An outdoor pool is a must-have for hot summer days in California. We outfitted our client’s outdoor entertainment area with a weatherproof TV (with custom backlighting), deck lighting, and a sound system using James Loudspeakers. For added enjoyment, we designed the sound system so that anyone swimming in the pool can hear the music underwater. Underwater dance-off, anyone?

Downstairs Bar

The downstairs bar is the place to be for game day parties and other events with loved ones and friends. The family and guests can sit back, mix drinks, and watch movies, TV, or sports from one of four TVs fitted with custom backlighting. Changing the content or adjusting the volume is as easy as pressing a few buttons on the Savant app.

Whole-Home Lighting

We installed beautiful and elegant Arcadian lighting fixtures and artwork lighting with Ketra throughout the client’s home. Savant is the brain of the home lighting system. Clients can use wall-mounted touchscreens or the Savant mobile app to control lighting fixtures and display their artwork using Ketra’s infinite color palette.

Wellness

Not only is this house technologically sophisticated, but it’s also a wellness wonderland. It’s a self-sustaining home, meaning that it generates its own power and water. In addition, it’s equipped with water filtration and purification technology to ensure the family always has fresh, clean water. Self-sustaining homes are the ultimate in green living, and our team at Fuzion3 is proud to have been at the helm of this innovative custom home design.
